the sun has returned! after a lengthy stretch of rain rain rain, the sun has returned to SF. we celebrated by spending the afternoon in the park yesterday. Scarlett had her first experience with sand! I was nervous that maybe she was too young to play in dirt sand and that the other park moms might judge me, but we were both getting pretty bored with the swing so it was time to try something new. i didn't want to just throw her in the pit with lions older kids, so i brought some sand onto the platform for her test out. i showed her how i could run my hand through it and make designs. she immediately followed suit and she was totally fascinated by it! and better yet, didn't even try to eat it!
