We left Texas for Colorado, and still ended up at a BBQ contest in the town of Dillon about a half hour from Breckenridge. Despite the rain, we got our hands on some delicious award winning BBQ. Actually, because of the rain we benefited from the competitors giving out hefty portions. Smokin Moe's, from Winter Park, was hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had!
And Scarlett just looked too cute wearing her technical rain gear!
Though we were loving Colorado BBQ, we made about a thousand jokes wishing it was Dillon, Texas. Not because Texas has better BBQ, but because we wanted to run into Coach and Tami Taylor. Actually, wishing we WERE Coach and Tami Taylor. Go Panthers!
